HOW IT WORKS:
GR Media Match provides you with a regular email of queries from area reporters looking for local sources for a story.

Email will come from info@grmediamatch.com

The email will contain information such as reporter name, outlet, deadline, and specific information the reporter needs.

If you think you have a local source then simply contact that reporter directly. Please respond with solid sources/ideas only, not a far-reaching pitch.

WHAT NOT TO DO:
Please do not forward the GR Media Match email to other reporters. Since this is a local service, reporters are (understandably) sensitive that their story idea may get in the hands of competing news organizations. Nobody wins when this happens.

SUBSCRIBE:
To subscribe, simply click on the Subscribe button below. Each subscription is $25 per year. Please use the email address that GR Media Match should be sent to.

ELIGIBILITY:
Only West Michigan-based public relations professionals or PR professionals with West Michigan-based operations/clients can join.

This service is open to corporate, agency, independent and freelance practitioners.

REPORTERS

PURPOSE:
The goal of GR Media Match is to help you find the best source for your story without spending much time researching.

HOW IT WORKS:
Simply send your story idea to

info@grmediamatch.com

We’ll issue the inquiry to trusted public relations professionals for their follow up.

Please provide the following in your email:

Summary of the story
Ideal source (lawyer, CPA, etc)
Your contact information (or anonymous)
Your deadline for responses
Story publish date (if known)

Your inquiry will not knowingly be sent to other reporters. However, PR professionals that are GR Media Match subscribers will see each media inquiry.

PR professionals will respond directly to you with their pitch. GR Media Match has no involvement in the pitches you receive.

Please notify GR Media Match if you feel a particular PR professional is abusing the service and necessary action will be taken.
